A letter from April 14th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hi. Do you remember the time back at the beginning of 2020 when the whole covid-19 pandemic was happening? Yeah it’s pretty stupid. I appreciate how much effort and dedication healthcare workers are putting into this whole thing, and on that topic, do you still want to be a surgeon? Because if not then my dream must have lasted 2 seconds :/ . Rn one of the most popular things is animal crossing. If you can’t remember then let me tell you that animal crossing is a super fun game that you play on the Nintendo Switch and you basically collect and hoard a bunch of stuff and make museums, but obviously this is after you pay your loan to Tom Nook. I really want to play this game fully, on the switch, and not on my phone like I’ve been playing for a few weeks now. Don’t get me wrong, the phone version is great, but it’s not the same thing. I’m trying to save up to buy the limited edition animal crossing Nintendo Switch but it’s 2000 lei + and I don’t have that kind of money as a 13 year old yknow. Also my favorite YouTubers/Insta influencers are Kennedy Walsh and Nailea Devora. I’m sure that by the time you’re reading this you have completely forgotten about them and have new favorite YouTubers but that’s how life goes. You change over time and there’s rly nothing you can do about that. Okay so now I’m going to tell you a bunch of random info about me so that in five years time (present time for future me, reading this) so that you (or I?) can feel even a bit nostalgic of our childhood. I have the purple iPhone 11, I’m using Function of Beauty hair shampoo and conditioner, two boys like me rn (Erik and Mihnea), I have fairy lights hung up on my walls, I have led lights waiting to be shipped here from my uncle’s house, I’m in year 8, brandy Melville is rly cute and popular, tiktok is a huge thing and I love it, my best friends rn are aurora and vio (and Anita to be), my average is around 97%, I kinda like maths, I hate Romanian music and Spanish, I cannot learn a language for the life of me, I have 252 insta followers, I love my 6 year old dog pufi, my favorite shows are greys anatomy the office for a while I was watching orange is the new black I love Korean and Chinese dramas, I’m not rly good at art or makeup, the only eyeshadow palette I have is the abh soft glam and I have a few colourpop cosmetics, I love my mum and dad a lot, my dream schools are UCLA and Oxford, I hate taking my dog for walks (poor him), I want a black cat and call it Salem, vio is planning some random thing against Anastasia 🤷‍♀️ Ummmmm what else is there to right?
