A letter from August 12th, 2019

Dear FutureMe, How are you? Have you traveled? Did you finish your credential program? Are you married? Take a second to think about what your life is like and compare it to how it was when you sent this to yourself. Working parttime at Home Depot and finishing up your final semesters at Cal State LA... Everything is ok. Life is a little dull right now. Mostly because of your responsibilities, possibly even because of your boyfriend... you still with him? I plan on breaking up with him in a month if he won't change. Wonder how that'll turn out. Something that I've always wanted is to have a road trip along the coast, land in Washington. If you haven't done that yet, please do. All we do is focus on school and work. Please do this for yourself. If money is holding us back, at least drive to San Fransisco. Go lay in a meadow, be at peace, rest. Love you, Me
