A letter from April 28th, 2020

Dear FutureMe, Hey man. Yeah, I know this is cheesy already but **** it. Right now you're stuck in Korea because of the corona virus.... Yeah, I know you remember that ****. Anyways, you're a Sergeant in the army and your baby girl is on the way. Bro, we are so excited for her to get here. She's gonna be such a daddy's girl I bet. She should almost be 5 by now so I bet she's got her mothers attitude showing a bit😂. Look man, I'm proud of you. By now I hope youve gotten promoted a few more times and who knows, maybe you're gonna re enlist again since that should be either coming up or you've already done it. I hope you're not struggling paycheck to paycheck anymore. But by now you've been through so much stress and depression and you're still here. You're still ******* it. If things are hard, just remember how bad it was when you wrote this man. You made it through all of that ****. Yeah, we've had some low times... You know what time I'm talking about. But you have to continue to lean on your brother's bud. They've been here for you through every ****** part of it and no one can take away the bond you have with those guys. You better, for the love of God, still be in contact with madore. He's been by your side since day one off the plane at Riley. Every ******* moment dude. Every ****** field problem. Every long work day. Those ****** *** deployments and you're even going to Carson together. I really hope you have talked to kon recently. I know y'all haven't been close for a while but he's your brother. He's your family. The only reason you're still alive is because of what he pushed you to do. He got you out of your comfort zone and set you up to start your own life and you owe him for that forever. If it's been a while, I want you to call him as soon as you're done reading this. Again man, I'm so ******* proud of you and what you've accomplished in your life. People are amazed by us when they hear our life story and I know that you've only improved from here. Don't you ever give up on yourself man. I ******* love you.
