Dear FutureMe,
You are probably looking back on these times as such a pivotal moment in history. Things have probably changed so much with new norms and guidelines put in place. You know that the worry of Covid has made people more cautious in everyday life after the hype simmered down. I hope for your sake you got to go to Colorado in the fall and college was able to start as normal. How was the Alaska trip, did it get cancelled or rescheduled? I also wonder what special attention you got for being a senior that “missed everything”, not that we care about prom or graduation. I bet there will be some form of loss or empty spot for the “popular” kids that peaked in high school wishing they could go back. I wonder if you ever go Covid and if you did, how did it treat you? Did the environment get better from the people staying inside, and how much did it help with the 2040 deadline? Well if all goes as planned you will get this letter a year after you graduate from CU Boulder and you will be trying to find a spot to live in a cool place like Colorado, Utah, Washington, or Montana. That’s all stay safe/sane and keep building bike trails while this all passes.
