A letter from October 14th, 2020

Peaceful right?

Dear FutureMe, It's October 14, 2020. We're in the first quarter of sophomore year. We've been quarantined for seven months now. Trump is President, though Election Day is 20 days away. I'd say our biggest challenges right now are the pandemic, systematic racism, and climate change. We currently identify as a lesbian and maybe agender. We may technically fall under sapphic. I just made the goals to do HIIT every other day, lift weights three times a week, and practice guitar for at least five minutes at least every other day. Did you achieve our exercise and guitar goals? Do we still maintain them? Not that weight matters much, but we weigh 136 lb right now. We also took before pictures; go look at them. Are we still friends with everyone we were friends with in October? Have we connected with anyone new? Did Biden win? How has life improved since Biden's win/worsened since Trump's reelection? Did they succeed in putting ACB into the Supreme Court? How is Mango? He was given a couple months in October. Have we come out as gay? Have we figured out our gender? We identified as a lesbian and potentially agender in October. Have you been able to get the wardrobe and room that you want? Did you finish X Files? Thoughts? I think we're on Season 8, or around it, right now. Any crushes or girlfriends? We have a very small one on someone right now. How has therapy been going? Are we medicated for ADHD? Have you relapsed? It's been about a week right now. What games do you play most often? How are they going? Among Us, Tower Defense, and assorted Hypixel games are the main three right now. We may have also started the Conflict of Nations game we were talking about. Did we dye our hair and get it cut? Did we do green? Did we dye it at home or have it done at a shop? Favorite artists? Rage Against The Machine, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Queen are our favorites right now. Is quarantine over? How has school and our life changed? Did we peak again in winter like we thought we would? How's our mental health out of 10? It's about a 6 right now. We're hanging on for our cats, our friends, and the people we haven't yet met. Our favorite shows and our favorite games make life a little more bearable. I hope everything is going well, and that we have a great summer.
